Heights Falafel

Highlight of Jury Duty
While on Jury Duty at the Brooklyn Federal Courthouse, I discovered this wonderful little place. Coming from Long Island where there is a dearth of good "Ethnic" retaurants, I found this a real treat. $4 with a soda with real chunks of lamb. Excellent. May go into Brooklyn one day to walk the promenade and maybe a little babaganoush...

Falafel: inexpensive, but not superb
You can get a falafel sandwich at Heights Falafel for $3, and it is filling and moderately satisfying, but certainly not the best falafel I have tasted. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which is a big plus. It's a good place for a cheap lunch if you're in the Brooklyn Heights area.
