Hearty, Yummy, dilled-out and Cheap!
Classic Polish food, served by earnest and polite people who barely speak English. Everything is loaded with fresh dill. I had the mushroom soup (dill), pork goulash (dill dill dill) and the pierogies (somewhat less dill, but dill nonetheless). I was skeptical because I thought "PYZA" meant "pizza", but apparently not cause I saw no sign of actual pizza being eaten or made.
There are many other Polish restaurants in the immediate area but this is the only one I went to. I assume there is more of the same in the others but if you are in the neighborhood you might try this one . . . no fancy decor, you order at the counter and they bring it on a plastic tray, but it was $11!!!! I ordered too much!!! For variery's sake, go with a friend and split the pierogies and such so as to take advantage of the cheapness and quantity.
Good stuff.
